    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar transceiver capable of sampling a frequency difference signal of a transmission/reception signal with a minimal configuration.
      SOLUTION: The radar transceiver comprises: an antenna part for transmitting a radar signal as a transmission signal and receiving the transmission signal reflected on an object as a reception signal; a switching means for switching either the transmission signal or the reception signal by a switching frequency signal; a mixer for generating a first frequency difference signal of the radar signal and the reception signal; and a sampling part for sampling the first frequency difference signal in synchronization with the switching frequency and for detecting a second frequency difference signal of the radar signal and the reception signal. As the second frequency difference signal can be directly sampled from the first frequency difference signal, a mixer etc. for generating a frequency difference signal of the first frequency difference signal and the switching frequency signal can be omitted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the radar, which can correct the modulation characteristics with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A modulating-wave oscillator 1 is constituted of a pulse oscillator 11 and an integrator 12. The pulse oscillator 11 oscillates the pulses, wherein at least one of the duty ratio, the amplitude or the period is changed so that the modulating characteristic of a transmitting-wave oscillator 2 becomes linear. A correcting modulation wave is formed by integrating the pulses in the integrator 12. The oscillating frequency of the transmitting wave oscillator 2, which is modulated by using the correcting modulation wave, is transmitted from a transmitting antenna 3. The reflected wave reflected from a target is received by a receiving antenna 4 and converted into the beat signal, wherein the reflected wave and the transmitted wave branched and outputted from a directional coupler 5 are mixed in a mixer 6. In an operating device 7, the range or the relative speed is operated based on the beat signal.

    • PURPOSE: To realize the FM-CW radar, which outputs the transmitting signal more approximate to a triangular wave with the simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: A modulating-signal generating means 1, which generates the triangular-wave shaped modulating signal, an transmitting device 2, which outputs the frequency-modulated high-frequency signal in accordance with the modulating signal, and a transmitting antenna 3, which transmits the high-frequency signal, are provided. Furthermore, a receiving antenna 4, which receives the reflected signal from a target body, a directional coupler 5, which separates a part of the high-frequency signal outputted to the transmitting antenna 3 from the originating device 2, and a mixer 6, which mixes the separated high-frequency signal and the reflected signal and outputs the beat signal, are provided. This is the FM-CW radar equipment, which has these parts and computes the distance to the target body based on the changes in frequency of the beat signal and in frequency synchronized with the modulating signal. A correcting means 7, which corrects the modulating signal outputted from the modulating-signal generating means 1 so that the frequency of the high-frequency signal outputted from the transmitting device 2 is changed into the triangular wave shape, is provided.
