摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a character string coincident with input character information as a character string corresponding to the input character information by comparing the input character information with a similar character string similar to the input character information. SOLUTION: A controller 18 inputs input character string data and identification information from an image reader 13 and sets them in the interior. Then the controller 18 retrieves area information database 16 with a 1st comparison retrieval section 18a. When it is decided that data are obtained from the area information database 16, monetary agency information coincident with the character string data obtained by the area information database 16 is retrieved from a monetary agency database 17 with a 2nd comparison retrieval section 18b, read by a data acquisition section 18c and fed to an output section 15. When a name of the monetary agency corresponding to the input character string is found out as a result of retrieval, a Kana (square form of Japanese syllabary) expression character string and a code corresponding to the name of monetary function corresponding to the content in an acquisition section 18c are read out of the monetary agency database 17 and fed to an output section 15.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early detect the pseudo synchronization that is caused by the disconnection of a subscriber line and to cancel the pseudo synchronization by deciding a synchronous state of the subscriber line and then deciding this synchronous state as the disconnection of a U point if an error state of the communication signal fetched from the subscriber line lasts for a fixed period and also a transmission line is not being tested when the subscriber line is set in a synchronous state. SOLUTION: A monitor means 5 always monitors the synchronous sate of a subscriber line 1, and a decision means 2 decides the presence or absence of an error for the communication signal that is fetched from the line 1. A summing means 3 totalizes the decision results of the means 2, and a 1st decision means 4 decides whether all results obtained in a fixed period are erroneous or not. At the same time, a 2nd decision means 6 decides whether a transmission system is being tested based on the decision results of the means 2. Then a 3rd decision means 7 decides the disconnection of a U point when the means 5 decides a synchronous state, the means 4 decides all results as errors and the means 6 decides a non-test mode of the transmission system respectively.

CONSTITUTION:As the signal of 32kbps, a signal composed of ADPCM compressed voice data is transmitted by using the four bits of B10'-B13' at a B1 channel as a first channel. On the other hand, as the signal of 96kbps, image data composed of non-compressed signals are transmitted by using the 12 bits of B20-B27 at a B2 channel and B28, B29, B2A and B2B at the B1 channel as second channels. Thus, since the voice data are compressed by using the ADPCM, the number of bits required for transmitting signals at the S interface of the ISDN can be reduced. Further, since the number of non-used bits caused by the compression of voice data are used for transmitting the image data, the communication speed of image data can be accelerated.
