摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a printer ink ribbon superior in both durability and printing sharpness and capable of coping with a high-speed printing head by using a specific 6,6-nylon cloth as a base cloth. CONSTITUTION:In a 6,6-nylon cloth used for a base cloth of a printer ink ribbon, 15-25 filaments having a single yarn fineness of 10-25 denier are used as woofs, 15-30 filaments having a single yarn fineness of 15-30 denier are used as warps, a woof density is 220-300 (single yarn number/inch), a warp density is 125-180 (single yarn number/inch), and a thickness is 70-110mum. By constructing the base cloth of the printer ink ribbon as mentioned above, the printer ink ribbon can be obtained with a base cloth thickness of 70-100mum, or preferably 80-100mum, a 5-10% reduced printing width contributing to a sharp printing, a 20% improved copying capacity, with a superior durability, while using a printing head capable of copying with high-speed printing.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an ink for an ink ribbon with which the ink ribbon can be smoothly transferred by compounding an oil-soluble ink with fine ceramic powders as a lubricating agent. CONSTITUTION:An ink wherein 0.1-3wt.% fine ceramic powders are compounded in the total amt. of an oil-soluble ink. Examples of the ceramic powder include silica, alumina, calcium oxide, and iron oxide and to disperse finely the powder in the ink, the particle diameter of the powder is pref. 0.1-1.0mum on the average. In said ink compsn., as a coloring agent, e.g. carbon black, an oil-soluble dye, a dispersing agent, etc., can be properly compounded and, in addition, a mineral oil, a higher fatty acid, a surface active agent, a dispersing agent, etc., can be properly compounded. By using said ink, it is possible to decrease remarkably a drawing force of the ribbon and it is also possible to stabilize the characteristic values of a cassette and to make smooth movement of the ribbon.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an ink used for ink ribbon without causing abrasion of a head wire and blotting of printed characters by using a black oil-soluble dye jointly with at least two kinds of soft organic pigment bringing out the black color by combination. CONSTITUTION:Organic pigments to be used are soft organic pigments softer than a printer wire (made of high speed steel or tungsten) and having an average particle size of preferably 0.5-0.01mum, and more preferably 0.1-0.05mum, and at least two kinds of said pigments are combined with each other. A preferable combination of said organic pigments is the combination of three colors of yellow, cyan and mazenta. Yellow organic pigments are Hansa yellow, etc.; orange organic pigments are benzidine orange, etc.; red organic pigments are Pare Red, etc.; purple organic pigments are quinacridone violet, etc.; blue organic pigments re Victoria Blue, etc.; and green organic solvents are Phthalocyanine Green, etc. In black ink, arbitrary oil-soluble dyes which have been heretofore combined with other materials as ribbon ink can be combined as black oil- soluble dyes to be used jointly with said organic pigments.
