    • PURPOSE: To reduce weight and size of a power transmitting device of a planetary roller type wherein holes for fastening an inner roller is located within a periphery of the inner roller, so that the outer diametrical dimensions of a casing and a case cover may be reduced down to about the outer diametrical dimension of the inner roller. CONSTITUTION: A sun roller 2 is connected to the end of an input shaft 1, while, a carrier 4 is connected to the end of an output shaft 3, so that respective planetary rollers 7 may be supported on planetary pins 5 inserted to the carrier 4. Screw holes 8b for fixing an inner roller 9 are provided to the flange 8a of a casing 8, while bolt setting holes 13a are provided at the locations corresponding to those of the screw holes 8b. Further, bolt setting holes 23a of a spacer wheel 23, which is inserted into a groove 9m of the inner roller 9, are provided at the locations corresponding to the bolt setting holes of the inner roller 9. Then, the inner rollers 9 are inserted with packings 14 applied on both side surfaces of the spacer wheel 23 so as to contact with the outer surfaces of the planetary rollers, thereafter a case cover 13 is integrally fastened onto the spacer wheel 23.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an orthogonal type rolling transmission gear desirable in durability and capable of obtaining high transmission torque with almost no slip. CONSTITUTION:An orthogonal type rolling transmission gear is provided with an input shaft 31 supported at a housing 35 and provided integrally with a small diameter taper roller 36; an output shaft 38 orthogonal to the input shaft 31 and supported in the state of being slightly movable in the axial direction; a torque cam plate 49 fixed to the output shaft 38; a large diameter taper roller 41 supported on the output shaft 38 and provided with a large diameter taper roller cam part 41a of the same shape as the torque cam plate 49, a torque cam roller 50 held between the torque cam plate 49 and the large diameter taper roller 41 so as to apply thrust to the large diameter taper roller 41 while transmitting torque; and an idle taper roller 42 supported on the output shaft 38, with the back face side constrained by a thrust bearing 45. A pair of large diameter taper rollers 41, 42 are disposed with the small diameter taper roller 36 held in between, and pressure contact force between the taper rollers is automatically increased/decreased in proportion to the output torque.

In addition, this balancer is provided with a bushing 1, where the center shaft 013 erected on the bottom plate 012 of the vertical cylinder 08 is inserted through and also the compression spring 017 is externally inserted, and a self-aligning bearing 4 inserted in an interval between the upper end of the center shaft 013 and a spring upper end seat plate 7 inserted into an upper part of the center shaft 013.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an influence by performance dispersion of each part in an assist power mechanism so that operation can be made by light stepping force without a feeling of physical disorder. SOLUTION: A bicycle is provided with a load sensor 21 interposed between stoppers of support frames 6, 6 of a pedal crankshaft to detect reaction force of a deceleration output shaft, speed sensor 23 counting a number of teeth of a chain sprocket 4 to detect a rotational speed and a controller 41 rotation drive controlling a motor. By a product of a detection value of a detection means 22 of tensile force of a chain 5 and a winding radius r0 of the chain sprocket 4, resultant torque is calculated, from a product of a detection value of the load sensor 21 and a distance r3 from a pedal crankshaft center of this load sensor 21, torque of the deceleration output shaft is calculated, to be compared with the resultant torque, so as to calculate torque ratio η, so as to be approximated to target ratio, an applied current to an assist motor is adjusted, motor rotation is controlled to be synchronized with rotation of the chain sprocket 4.
