摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate driving in and out of a car by a method wherein in each parking story, wherein auxiliary parking stories of upper and lower stages being provided, there is provided an elevator for exclusively taking out and in a car, thereby simplifying a flow line of cars in an in-and-out car story. CONSTITUTION:Elevators 5541A-5545A for exclusively driving in cars and elevators 5541B-5545B for exclusively driving out cars are provided in each parking area of each parking story. In this case, the elevators 5541A-5545A and the elevators 5541B-5545B are installed in a right half section 1E and a left half section 1F of a parking building 1, respectively. And hence a flow line of a car K leaving and entering an in-and-out car story 9 is simplified. Further, the movement of the car K from an inlet port 77 to lift ports of lifting paths 5541A-1-5545A-1 and the movement of the car K to outlet ports 81, 82 of lift ports of lifting paths 5541B-1-5545B-1 can be made smoothly. As a result, storage and retrieval of cars can be performed safely and efficiently.

SOLUTION: An article storage construction is constituted of rails 12 and article storage boxes 14, etc. The rails 12 are arranged in checkerboard squares in the lower part of the ceiling slab 8, and part 1202 of the rail 12 is inserted in an upward place of a wall closet 4. Each of the article storage boxes 14 is constituted of a truck section 20 placed on the rail 12 in a movable manner and an article storage box main body 22 mounted on the truck section 20 in a detachable manner. The lower surface of the bottom of the truck section 20 is so finished that it is used for the ceiling of a Japanese-style room 2. When the article storage box main body 22 is taken out from the article storage box 14, the article storage box 14 is moved to the part 1202 of the rail 12, and the article storage box 14 is subsequently moved to face the required article storage box 14 for making a space therefor.
