    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adaptation to the analysis of large samples as well by a method wherein a seal member is interposed on a joint surface between a lid body and an opening part of the body of a container to mount an elastic cock airtightly at a gas sampling port and a substitution gas supply port is provided to interpose a seal member on an inner circumferential surface across the outer circumference in the axis of an opening/closing cock and a branch path of a protruded path part. SOLUTION: A seal member 3 is interposed on a joint surface between a lid body 2 and an opening part 1a of a container body 1 and it employs an O-ring or the like. A gas sampling port 5 is provided at a part of the lid body 2 and an elastic cock 6 is mounted airtight on the gas sampling port 5. The cock employs an elastic material such as rubber. A substitution gas supply port 8 comprises a branch path branched off the course of a protruded path part 7. Seal members 10a and 10b are interposed on an inner circumferential surface at two points across the outer circumference in the axis 9a of an opening/closing cock 9 and the branch path of the protruded path part 7 and they employ O-rings. A sample S is left alone for a specified time being sealed or heated. Then, a gas tight syringe 102 is inserted into the elastic cock 6 of the gas sampling port 5 to analyze a gas.

    • PURPOSE: To maintain low the oxygen concentration of a crosslinked- polyethylene insulator during preservation to prevent formation of water during heating by covering the crosslinkedpolyethylene insulator with a metal sheath, and providing a deoxidation layer. CONSTITUTION: A crosslinked-polyethylene insulator 3 is covered with a metal sheath 8, and a deoxidation layer 5 is provided between the insulator 3 and the metal sheath 8. This constitution allows oxygen in the metal sheath 8 to be absorbed into the deoxidation layer 5, and since oxygen outside the metal sheath 8 cannot penetrate through, oxygen in the insulator 3 inside the metal sheath 8 can be maintained at low oxygen concentration even without the cable being preserved in a lean oxygen atmosphere after manufacture. Therefore, formation of water can be prevented even in cases where the cable is heated within the atmosphere after long-range preservation. Desirably, a deoxidizer 1g of which absorbs 10ml or more oxygen is contained in the deoxidation layer 5 by 10g or more per 1m of the cable. Also, the deoxidizer contained in the layer 5 is desirably composed chiefly of iron powders or active iron oxide powders.
