摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a hot-rolling equipment in iron works of wrapper roll for coiler, pinch roll, mandrel and steel plate carrying roller, etc., which improves corrosion resistance, wear resistance, hitting flow resistance and seizure resistance up to a high level and is excellent in durability. SOLUTION: Base material 17 made of a steel as a blank is concentricity and vertically inserted into an assembling mold 10 provided with an electromagnetic induction heating coil 11. Into the annular gap part 20 at the outer periphery of the base material 17, the separately prepared molten steel 19 having compsn. composed of 0.5-2wt.% C, 0.1-1.5wt.% Si, 0.1-1.5wt.% Mn, 2-15wt.% Cr, 2-10wt.% Mo, 1-8wt.% V, 1-10wt.% W, 1-15wt.% Co and the balance substantially Fe, is poured. The base material 17 is intermittently lowered and while depositing the molten steel 19 on the outer surface of the base material, the molten steel is solidified by cooling to form a padding layer 21 on the outer periphery of the base material 17, and then, a prescribed heat treatment and machining are executed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To accomplish stable operation with the continuous injection clad forming method and reduce maintenance works by wrapping a coil conductor with an electric insulative material consisting of mica tape pinched between glass cloth tapes, and thereover laying a castable refractory substance as protector. CONSTITUTION:A three-ply tape 2 is formed by pinching a mica tape 22 between glass cloth tapes 21 and wound on the periphery of a coil conductor 1, and further thereover a castable refractory substance 3 of alumina type is laid as covering to achieve an induction heating coil. Mica which ensures electric insulation at a high temp. is not flexible, and it has been difficult to wind it on a coil conductor, but this construction as mentioned imparts flexibility to enable winding spirally on a coil in tight contact therewith. Further the maintenance works can be reduced to a great extend owing to this construction in which the outermost layer is covered with a refractory substance having a low thermal conductivity as well as low coefficient of thermal expansion, equipped with excellent resistance against heat shocks, and having low reactivity with molten glass, slag, etc.
