    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calibrate the measurement value near a cut-off value with higher precision by weighting a display value of a fixed concentration range, among multiple calibration liquids, and its measurement value, for obtaining a calibration curve. SOLUTION: A calibration liquid having at least three levels of known concentration indication values is dropped onto multiple dry type analysis elements, and the same assay is performed, for measuring a reflection optical concentration. The concentration is referred to a stored basic analytical curve from a maker, and a measurement value far a to-be-examined component in each calibration liquid is obtained, and a calibration curve is drawn based on a known concentration for the to-be-examined component, etc. Here, the data of calibration liquid of the level of a concentration value near the proximity having medically meaningful value is weighted by increasing assay times, etc. With each data obtained, a regression function of calibration curve is obtained, and its each coefficient is stored in a magnetic card and supplied to users, and stored in the memory of the device. Thus, the load on a user is least and measurement of high precision is possible even when a medical meaningful value is used as a cut-off value.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent changes in the concentration of a solvent due to its evaporation by inserting a pipe in the solution within a liquid container with its end in intimate contact with the inner wall of a sealable opening provided at the upper part of the container. CONSTITUTION:A pipe is provided with a bottom at the lower end thereof and either the pipe bottom or the side wall adjacent the lower end thereof is provided with a hole in communication with the outside. Preferably, this hole is located below a first predetermined height and above a second predetermined height in the container. The second height refers to the liquid surface corresponding to that of the liquid in the minimum limit of the amount, with changes in the liquid concentration resulting from evaporation confined within such a limit as not to create hindrance to its practical application. This method prevents the liquid from being reduced by removal to such a small amount that changes in the liquid concentration resulting from evaporation cause hindrance to its practical application. It is important that the material of the pipe to be inserted in the solution does not affect the liquid composition, preferably flexible to retain the airtightness of the container opening and the size of the hole may be such as not to hinder the flow of the liquid on the removal of the liquid.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the evaporation of a solvent and the accompanying change in its concentration, by bringing the outer surface of a pipe near the upper end thereof into contact with the inner surface of the opening portion of a liquid container to such an extent as to substantially cause airtightness and by positioning the lower end of the pipe below a predetermined height of the interior of the container. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 5 in intimate contact with the inner wall of an opening portion which is sealable with a lid 2 and which is provided on the upper part of a liquid container 1 is inserted in a solution 4 of the container 1 with the lower end of the pipe 5 positioned below a predetermined height of the interior of the container. This height is smaller than that of the liquid initially accommodated in the container and selected appropriately from the amount of the liquid to be stored therein. The material of the pipe inserted into the liquid does not affect the liquid composition, preferably flexible to retain the airtightness of the container opening and, if the container is cylindrical, it is desired that the shape of the pipe be cylindrical for the intimate contact of its upper part or the adjoining portion with the container opening. This permits the area of direct contact of the solution with the external air to be reduced, so long as the pipe end reaches the liquid surface, extremely reducing the evaporation rate and accordingly preventing changes in the concentration.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the vaporization of a solvent without making it inconvenient to take the liquid out by providing a member which can floats on the liquid surface, has a hole reaching the liquid surface in the center or at its periphery, and covers at least a half of the liquid surface in the liquid container. CONSTITUTION:The float member 5 is provided in the container main body 1 whose opening area is large, the liquid 4 is put in, and the inside is sealed with a lid 2. The float member 5 is normally in a plate shape as a preferable shape, but may be conic. This member is preferably to be as small as passible in the gap to the internal surface of the liquid storage part of the container while floating on the liquid surface. When the contour is similar to the inside shape of the container, the gap to the internal wall of the opening part is reducible. When the container is made of a material larger in specific gravity than the liquid, a hollow part is formed so as to make the bulk specific gravity smaller than the specific gravity of the liquid. The material of the float member 5 need to be selected so that the liquid composition is not affected.
