    • PURPOSE:To obtain the protective coating layer of the titled element having excellent sticking anti-flaw and water-resisting properties, and capable of preventing a sticking and a finger print adhesion to another material, and capable of being easy to wipe up a stain, and of giving an improved flatness and a higher image by coating the protective layer with a composition contg. a polymerizable vinyl monomer having a radical capable of reacting with gelatin, a polyfunctional acrylate and a solvent capable of swelling gelatin, followed by curing the composition with irradiation of radiation. CONSTITUTION:The protective coating layer is formed by coating the composition contg. the polymerizable vinyl monomer having the radical capable of reacting with gelatin, the polyfunctional acrylate and the solvent capable of swelling gelatin, followed by curing the composition with irradiation of radiation. The compounding amount of the polymerizable vinyl monomer is 0.5-80wt%, preferably 1-50wt% per 100wt% of the finished composition of the protective coating layer. Two or more kinds of the vinyl monomer may be jointly used.

    • PURPOSE: To determine the base sequence of DNA at a high accuracy, by making a storage phosphor sheet absorb radiation energies from radioactive label substances in respective separate development trains of at lesst two groups of base-specified DNA synthetic matter mixtures to process.
      CONSTITUTION: Radioactive energies released from radioactive label substances in respective separate development trains made up of at least two groups of base-specified DNA synthetic matters or mixtures containing at least one kind of base-specified DNA synthetic matter and mixture of guanine-specified DNA synthetic matter, adenine-specified DNA synthetic matter, thymine-specified DNA synthetic matter and cytosine-specified DNA synthetic matter are absorbed by a storage phosphor sheet 1 and scanned in an electromagnetic wave 15 with a light deflector 18 to be photoelectrically read out with a photo detector 23 whereby the separate development train of the DNA synthetic matter mixture is established as reference train. Sampling points of adjacent separate development trains are identified based on the reference sampling points of the reference train.
