    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color photograph of high image quality by any method such as surface exposure method or scanning exposure method. SOLUTION: This silver halide color photographic sensitive material has at least each one layer of silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow dye-forming coupler, silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye-forming coupler, and silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming coupler on a base body. At least, one emulsion layer contains silver chloride or silver chloride bromide emulsion particles which do not substantially contain silver iodide and have >=95mol% silver chloride content. The photographic sensitive material is produced to satisfy the following conditions. First, a straight line is drawn to pass the points corresponding to 1.0 and 1.5 density on the characteristic curve obtd. for 0.1sec exposure time. In a region of >=1.5 density, such a point on the characteristic curve is determined that the light exposure E is larger by 0.05 logE than the point on the straight line of the same density, and the point gamma for this density is obtd. Then a characteristic curve for 10 sec exposure time is obtd. to calculate the point gamma in the same procedure above described. The ratio of the obtd. point gamma (for 10 sec exposure time) to the former point gamma (for 0.1sec exposure time) is between >=0.7 and

    • PURPOSE:To allow a silver halide color photographic material to have high sharpness and undergo little sensitivity variation even with variations in humidity after it is preserved for a long period by dyeing a specific hydrophilic colloid layer located on the side to which a photosensitive layer is applied. CONSTITUTION:This silver halide color photographic material contains a dye compound of a specific structure to be dispersed in a photograph structural member as two kinds of solid fine particles, and contains a pyrazolotriazol coupler of a specific structure to be contained in a silver halide emulsion layer as a magenta coupler. The silver halide emulsion layer contains silver chloride bromide, silver chloride iodide bromide, silver chloride iodide, or silver chloride, emulsion particles whose silver chloride content is 70mol%, or more. While the emulsion particles are applied onto a carrier after the formation of silver halide particles, a bromine ion releasing compound and/or a bromine atom compound are added by 0.0005-0.05mol per mol of silver halide to a system containing the silver halide particles.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness and shelf stability of a sensitive material by specifying the content of titanium oxide particles in a waterproof resin layer of the sensitive material on one side of the substrate coated with a photosensitive layer and the optical reflection density of the sensitive material, dispersing and incorporating an oil-soluble coupler in coexistence with a water-insoluble homo-or copolymer. A silver halide color photographic sensitive material having superior sharpness, hardly undergoing a change of the sensitivity during storage over a long period of time and ensuring a fine white ground at the time of rapid processing is obtd.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film, having low reflectance and hardly visible contamination and giving black display which is neutral, and to provide an image display apparatus having less conspicuous contamination and reflection. SOLUTION: The antireflection film has a light diffusing layer and a low-refractive index layer on a transparent support body. The light diffusing layer contains, at least a binder and light transmitting particles having the refractive index with 0.02 to 0.2 difference from that of the binder and dispersed in the binder. The low-refractive index layer contains hollow silica particles, having 0.5 to 200 nm for the average particle diameter, and has 1.20 to 1.50 for the refractive index. The hue of reflected light in a region from 380 to 780 nm wavelength on the antireflection film with respect to the incident light at 5° angle from the CIE standard light source D65 satisfies -1.5≤a * ≤1.5 and -2.0≤b * ≤2.0 in terms of a * , b * values in the CIE 1976 L * a * b * Color Space.
