摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the production of a filter to easily produce a single-color or multicolor chiral nematic liquid crystal filter having uniform thickness, high accuracy and excellent transparency and color purity while reducing the loss of the material. SOLUTION: The production method of a chiral nematic liquid crystal filter includes a process of forming a photo-setting light-transmitting photosensitive composition layer on a light-transmitting substrate and of exposing the photosensitive composition layer according to an image, a process of adhering a chiral nematic liquid crystal layer as a transfer material to the exposed photosensitive composition layer under pressure, a process of heating the light-transmitting substrate and the transfer material in the adhered state and then of peeling the transfer material to form the chiral nematic liquid crystal only in the exposed region on the photosensitive composition layer, and a process of dissolving and removing the photosensitive composition layer in the unexposed region after peeling and further, of heating and fixing the liquid crystal layer. Two or more kinds of transfer materials having different hues may be used to form a liquid crystal layer of two or more colors by repeating the above processes twice or more.

In formula III, R is an alkyl group of 1-12 carbon number, aralkyl group of 7-16 carbon number or aryl group of 6-18 carbon number.

As the primary amine, 2-ethoxy ethylamine or 3-methoxy propylamine is preferably used.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive transfer material suitable for dry transfer to a base body having a rough surface, and to obtain an image forming method using this material. CONSTITUTION:On a temporal supporting body, there are formed an alkali-soluble thermoplastic resin layer, intermediate layer, and photosensitive resin layer in this order to obtain a photosensitive transfer material in a manner that adhesion strength between the thermoplastic resin layer and the temporal supporting body is smallest. Picture images are formed on a permanent supporting body with using this photosensitive transfer material by tightly adhering the photosensitive resin layer and the permanent supporting body while at least heating, peeling the interface of the temporal supporting body and the thermoplastic resin layer, exposing the photosensitive resin layer to light through the thermoplastic resin layer and the intermediate layer, and developing the pattern. In this process, the alkali-soluble thermoplastic resin layer and the intermediate layer are removed with using such a developer that can develop the alkali-soluble thermoplastic resin layer and the intermediate layer but does not substantially develop the photosensitive resin layer, and then the photosensitive resin layer is developed to form picture images. Thereby, overfatigue of the developer or irregular development can be prevented.
