摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable photosensitive material capable of forming images small in change of tone by specifying a given amount of exposure and an average radius of a sphere heat development. SOLUTION: The heat-developable photosensitive material to be used is exposed to the exposure amount of a 30 μJ/cm light and heat-developed at 120 deg.C for 20 sec in an average sphere radius of 0.01-0.35 μm. This sphere means the range in which non-photosensitive silver salts formed around developed silver derived from the photosensitive silver halide have disappeared. The photosensitive layer (emulsion layer) 1 having a predetermined thickness T contains the photosensitive silver halide and the nonphotosensitive organic silver salt, and the silver halide is photodecomposed by exposure to form a latent image 21 made of metallic silver, and the organic silver salt is heat-developed by the catalytic action of this silver to be reduced into silver and to cause an almost spherical part 3 of the organic silver salt around the photodeveloped silver to disappear, and this disappeared part 3 is the sphere.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a spectrally sensitized photographic silver halide emulsion having extremely high sensitivity by adding at least one kind of oxidizing agent selected among hydrogen peroxide, salts of peroxy acids and ozone to a silver halide emulsion and by spectrally sensitizing the emulsion with such an amount of a spectral sensitizer that desensitization is caused in the absence of the oxidizing agent before the end of a chemical ripening stage. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of oxidizing agent selected among hydrogen peroxide, salts of peroxy acids and ozone is added to a silver halide emulsion, and the emulsion is spectrally sensitized with such an amount of a spectral sensitizer that desensitization is caused in the absence of the oxidizing agent before the end of a chemical ripening stage. The hydrogen peroxide (soln.) may be used as adducts such as NaBO2.H2O2.3H2O and 2NaCO3.3H2O2. The salts of peroxy acids include K2S2O8, K2C2O6, K4P2O8, K2[Ti(O2)C2O4].3H2O and peracetates. The preferred amount of the oxidizing agent added is 10 -10mol, especially 10 -1mol per 1mol silver halide.
