    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nipper for an electronic part such as an IC chip, enabling a user to precisely cut a fine lead terminal with small gap between adjacent members and to perform the cutting work in a natural posture easily.
      SOLUTION: The nipper comprises a pair of clasping arms 1 and 1 combined in the X-shape and journaled to be cross-oscillated, and a twisted coil-shaped spring 2 disposed between the clasping arms 1 and 1 for opening/energizing the clasping arms 1 and 1. The clasping arms 1 and 1 have a nearly horizontal grip 3, a cross-arm 4 continued to the grip 3 and inclined downward forward, and a blade part 5 extending forward from the lower end of the cross-arm 4, which are integrated to the clasping arms. The grip 3 and the blade part 5 are disposed nearly parallel above and below the cross-arm 4, so that the user can perform the cutting work easily in the natural posture. The cross-arm 4 is diagonally inclined so that the cutting part of the blade part 6 is not shielded by the cross-arm 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prier, preventing joint seats of the respective clamping arms from floating in loosening a small screw, the screw shaft of which is rusted up, whereby the small screw is loosened as a user intends and the twisting force can be effectively transmitted. SOLUTION: Both clamping arms 1, 2 disposed to intersect like an X-shape are connected to each other by a connecting shaft 3. Each clamping arm 1, 2 is provided with a jaw part 4 at one end and a handle 5 at the other end. A pair of clamping teeth 12 clamping and catching the opposite peripheral surfaces of a screw head 15 are formed on the opposite surfaces of the tips of the jaw parts by recesses. The first clamping arm 1 and the second clamping arm 2 have a reverse intersection structure similar to the intersecting form of a pair of scissors for a left-handed person, whereby in loosing the small screw, the jointing seats 21 of both clamping arms 1, 2 are brought into close contact with each other by the twisting reaction force.
