    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerable polyolefin-based organic polymer material capable of removing metal ions in an organic solvent, and a method for treating an organic solvent by using the same.
      SOLUTION: The polyolefin-based organic polymer material for removing metal ions in an organic solvent is obtained by bonding a graft side chain containing a straight-chain polyether to a main chain of the polyolefin base, wherein the graft side chain is introduced by radiation graft polymerization and is formed by covalently bonding the straight-chain polyether having a molecular weight of 160-2,000 to chloromethylstyrene, and the shape of the polyolefin base can be a nonwoven fabric, short fibers, a net or particles. The method for treating an organic solvent comprises passing an organic solvent containing metal ions through the organic polymer material to remove the metal ions, and passing water through the organic polymer material which has captured the metal ions to regenerate the organic polymer material.
