    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing solidified aggregates of waste ion exchange resin that can be incinerated efficiently and steadily at a low cost, particularly a method for producing the same continuously, a device for producing the same, and the same.SOLUTION: The method comprises: a water absorption step of mixing roughly drained waste ion exchange resin and a water-absorbing material and absorbing residual water from the waste ion exchange resin into the water-absorbing material; a flammable binding material addition step of adding a flammable binding material to the mixture of the desiccated waste ion exchange resin and the water-absorbing material and mixing the mixture; a calcium salt addition step of adding an inorganic compound including calcium to the mixture of the desiccated waste ion exchange resin, the water-absorbing material and the flammable binding material; a kneading and extrusion step of feeding the mixture of the desiccated waste ion exchange resin, the water-absorbing material, the flammable binding material and the calcium salt to a kneading extruder, kneading the mixture, and extruding the kneaded mixture into extruded bodies in a desired shape; and a cooling and solidification step of cooling and solidifying the extruded bodies. The water absorption step, the flammable binding material addition step, the calcium salt addition step and the kneading and extrusion step are performed in an inert gas atmosphere free from carbon dioxide.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a waste ion-exchange resin aggregated solidification material which is capable of efficiently and stably conducting the incineration treatment at a low cost, to provide a manufacturing device and to provide a waste ion-exchange resin aggregated solidification material. SOLUTION: The resin surface water of the waste ion-exchange resin 10 is coarsely drained off, measured by a measuring mechanism 60 and charged into a mixing tank 70. An absorption material is charged into the mixing tank 70 from the absorption material tank 30 after the measurement to absorb the residue moisture of the waste ion-exchange resin with the absorption material.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aggregated solid relating to radioactive wastes, in particular powdery active carbon, which can be efficiently and stably incinerated at a low cost, and to provide the aggregated solid.SOLUTION: The method for producing an aggregated solid includes: a water absorbing step of blending a radioactive waste slurry including powdery active carbon after the use in atomic energy-relevant equipment and a water absorber selected from a polyacrylic acid, a polyacrylic acid alkali metal salt, a polyacrylic acid alkaline earth metal salt, and cellulose-based fibers, at a ratio of 5 parts by mass of the water absorber to 100 parts by mass of a water content of the radioactive waste slurry to make the water absorber absorb remaining water in radioactive wastes; a combustible binder adding step of adding a powdery or granular combustible binder selected from petroleum wax, vegetable wax, Japanese wax, and white wax, which has a softening point equal to or lower than the boiling point of water and is solid at a room temperature, to a mixture of the radioactive wastes and the water absorber after water absorption at a ratio of 100 to 200 parts by mass of the combustible binder to 100 parts by mass of the radioactive wastes and blending them; a step of forming a mixture of the radioactive wastes, the water absorber, and the combustible binder after water absorption into a compact while keeping a temperature equal to or higher than the softening point of the combustible binder; and a cooling and solidifying step of cooling the compact to solidify it.
