    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an earthquake resistance design to be rationalized in a manner that alleviates a load when the same continuously acts on reinforcement to restrain a crack from being generated on a concrete column or the like, to allow earthquake energy to be absorbed without damaging a member and to protect the reinforcement from an increase in axial force additionally applied thereto.SOLUTION: An earthquake resistance construction method uses a base isolation anchoring mechanism where an edge section of reinforcement moves in a confined movable region when force larger than a prescribed load is applied to an anchoring section of the reinforcement. In the anchoring section of the reinforcement, the reinforcement (20), which has an anchoring plate (23) fixed at a tip section thereof and is extended inside a base material (13) of a structure, is provided with a region (21) where adhesion between a surface of the reinforcement and the base material is deactivated. The anchoring plate at the tip section of the reinforcement becomes movable, when the force larger than the prescribed load is applied thereto through the reinforcement, within a distance of a confined movable region (25) created inside the base material with a limitation on movement exceeding the movable region.
