    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the used amount of the cutting oil while efficiently eliminating the chips so as to improve the effect of injection of the oil mist by performing a process for spraying the gas to a cutting tool so as to eliminate the chips adhered to the cutting tool with the predetermined timing. SOLUTION: When the predetermined quantity of the chips is adhered to a cutting tool 12, the signal for opening a solenoid valve 46 for the predetermined time is output from a timer 44 to the solenoid valve 46. With this structure, in an air injecting device 30, the compressed air stored in an accumulator tank 34 is injected by a compressor 32 from an injection nozzle 42 to the cutting tool 12 for the predetermined time so as to eliminate the chips adhered to the cutting tool 12. In this case, injection of the oil mist can be stopped during the injection of the air. Pressure of the accumulator tank 34 is returned to the predetermined value by the operation of the compressor 32 during the time when the solenoid valve 46 is closed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the stretching of a rail due to a temperature change by providing a pair of arm parts which are separated from each other by a specified distance and extend in parallel and fixing rails on the tip of each of the arm parts in such a manner that the end parts of the rails are separated from each other at a rail joint. SOLUTION: A rail bracket 12 supporting the guide rail 10 of a sludge raker has a pair of arm parts 30 which are separated from each other by a specified distance and extend in parallel. Each of the arm parts 30 is formed of a spacer which is sandwiched between the bases of paired plain resin plates 31 and fastened there. In addition, A support plate 33 is installed horizontally on the tip of each of the arm parts 30, while the base end of the arm part 30 is connected to a mounting seat 34, which is, in turn, fixed to the lateral wall 2a of a settlement pond 2. Further, on the upper face of the support plates 33, a gap S which extends obliquely through the end parts of the rail 10 at the joint of the rail 10, is disposed in such way that the gap S spans over both support plates 33 across the gap S itself. The end parts of the rail 10 are fixed to the support plates 33 by driving a tapping screw 36 into each of the support plates 33 from above.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by constituting a casing by integrating a core for forming an outer block with high rigidity and a channel and a contact liquid part which are incorporated into this outer block and a resin mouldings which is hardened by being injected within space. SOLUTION: A volute pump casing 10 is constituted by integrally covering the surrounding of a resin mouldings 11 having a prescribed channel and the internal shape of a contact liquid part by an outer block made of steel plate. The outer block 12 joins each of an auxiliary cylinder 15 forming a discharge port 14, a suction pipe connection flange 16 and a casing cover connection flange 17 to one side surface of a cylinder main body 13 of a roughly cylindrical shape and a simple shape. In the resin mouldings 11, a core 20 which is lost after plastic is injected into the inside of the outer block 12 or can be removed and eliminated and is formed into a channel shape is incorporated, plastic is injected into space of the outer block and the core 20 and the core 20 is lost or taken out after plastic is hardened. Thus, the channel and the contact liquid part are integrally moulded by plastic and cost can be reduced.
