    • PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of lubrication unit by constructing the pressure oil supply casing for supplying pressure oil to the rotary shaft to be fixed in the rotary direction but to be slidable freely in radial direction.
      CONSTITUTION: During when a motor 1 is driven to rotate the rotary shaft 4, said shaft 4 is rotating in static pressure oil supply casing 10 while maintaining a narrow gap. Said casing 10 is formed to be fixed in the rotary direction but slidable freely by the clearance of a knock pin 12 and a hole 13 in radial direction against the foundation 9. Consequently, even upon lateral swing of the rotary shaft 4 due to vibration, the casing 10 to be fitted with said shaft 4 will displace together with the rotary shaft 4. Since the bearing function will never occur even if the gap between the fitting faces is small, there is no possibility of increasing gap due to abrasion of the sliding section thereby the gap can be maintained at the minimum necessary level. Consequently, the circulating amount of working oil is reduced to reduce the cost of the lubrication unit considerably.

    • PURPOSE: To enable a turbo-pump to continue operation even when the oil pressure for controlling a blade angle becomes zero by locking an operation shaft for controlling the blade angle and a main shaft in order to make the transfer of a shaft orientation at the time of the zero oil pressure impossible.
      CONSTITUTION: When the oil pressure for controlling a blade angle becomes zero for some reason during the operating of a turbo-pump, pilot pressure is lowered, and a back pressure check valve moves so that oil channels to blade angle control cylinder chambers 12, 13 are connected to a drain through return pipes. Accordingly, a locking piston 42, which has moved downward by deforming a bellville spring 52 through pressure applied on a pressure chamber 61 of the blade angle locking equipment, goes up owing to restoring power of the belleville spring 52 and fixes a distance ring 38 and the operation shaft 14 for the control of the blade angle by pressing a crankpin sleeve 44. As a result, the above-stated operation shaft and the main shaft 4 are fixed in the shaft orientation, and the blade angle is maintained in that state. Therefore, the operation of the pump can be continued.

The sleeve 24 is arranged mutually slidably with a bearing side sliding member made of the hard fragile material such as ceramic or superhard alloy, that is, a bearing 26. The bearing 26 is press-fitted to a recessed part 30 of a buffer member 28 made of vulcanized rubber. A plurality of axial through-holes 32 are formed on the buffer member 28 circumferentially and with equal intervals. External force and oscillations to be exerted are therefore sufficiently absorbed and attenuated by the buffer member, and the deformation rate is increased, so that the whole of the sliding bearing can be miniaturized.

Hence, relative rotation is caused between the turning shaft 1 and a piece 8 which is fitted on the turning shaft 1 via a ball bearing 9 in such a way that the axial movement is impossible and the relative rotation to the turning shaft 1 is possible, and the relative rotation of the piece 8 to the turning shaft 1 is transformed to the axial movement of a sliding ring 7 by screw engagement of a male screw 7S on the outer periphery of the sliding ring 7 rotating integrally with the turning shaft 1 with a female screw 8S on the inner periphery of the piece 8, and this is transmitted to an operating shaft 2 for vane angle control to change the vane angle and then a detecting rod 24 transmits the vane angle to a position detector 25. Thus, in the steady-state operation, relative movement is not caused in the vane angle control device, and the durability is enhanced.
