    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved vehicle differential. SOLUTION: A vehicle differential assembly 22 of an automobile includes a differential 24 driven by an input 26 and adapted to allow differing rotational speed between a pair of outputs 28, 30. The differential 24 includes a gear assembly connected to the outputs 28, 30 and a hydraulically-actuated clutch 44 for selectively and variably coupling the outputs 28, 30. A hydraulic pump 54 is adapted to generate hydraulic fluid pressure for engagement of the hydraulically-actuated clutch 44. A variable-engagement clutch 56 is operatively connected to the input 26 and the hydraulic pump 54 such that the input 26 selectively drives the hydraulic pump 54 during engagement of the clutch to provide hydraulic fluid pressure to the hydraulically-actuated clutch 44.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly of differential of automobile and a stable control method of the automobile. SOLUTION: The assembly 22 of the differential gear includes: a differential 24 driven by an input 26, and makes rotation speed between a pair of outputs 28 and 30 different. The differential includes: a gear assembly 32 connected with the output; a hydraulic working clutch 44 engaging with the output selectively and variably, and a hydraulic pump 54 suitable for generating hydraulic fluid pressure for engaging the hydraulic working clutch. The differential also includes a variably engaging clutch 56 operationally connected with the input 26 and the hydraulic pump, and the input drives the hydraulic pump selectively, and gives the hydraulic fluid pressure to the hydraulic working clutch during clutch engagement. Fluid pressure is given selectively and variably from the hydraulic pump to the hydraulic working clutch by processing valves in operational connection with the hydraulic pump and one or a plurality of hydraulic working clutches.
