    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which includes a plurality of groups of devices, and controls the amount of communication and communication delay, a device, and a communication method.
      SOLUTION: The communication system includes: ECUs 11-13 which belong to a domain D1; and ECUs 21-23 which belong to a domain D2. The ECU 12 belonging to the domain D1 changes the transmission period of data to be sent to other ECU between the data that are transmitted to the other ECUs 11 and 13 belonging to the domain D1 to be different from the transmission period of data that are transmitted to the ECUs 21-23 belonging to the domain D2. Thereby, the data receiving ECU receives not only data transmitted from its own domain but also data transmitted from other domains for each period, so that a representative communication device of each domain is not necessary and communication is not performed through representative communication devices. As a result, the increase of the amount of communication and communication delay are reduced.
