      SOLUTION: A support member 90 is fitted to the projecting part 87 of a flange 22 closing the open part of the fuel tank. The harness 83, 84 is supported by the support member 90. The projecting part 87 of the flange 22 is formed in a cylindrical shape that can contain a cutoff valve for opening and closing the fuel vapor inlet of a canister. The support member 90 is snap-fit engaged with the projecting part 87 by utilizing the structure of snap fit engagement of the cutoff valve with the projecting part 87. Therefore, the portions of the harness 83, 84 supported by the support member 90 are restricted to move freely. Since the holding of the harness 83, 84 by a coiled spring in the fuel tank is suppressed, the possibility of damage to the harness 83, 84 can be reduced.

      SOLUTION: Fuel passing through the fuel filter 30 flows from the outside to the inside of a filter body 31. The filter body 31 has an outer peripheral layer part formed of nonwoven fabric, and an inner peripheral layer part formed of filter paper. Comparatively large ones out of foreign matters included in the fuel are thereby captured in the outer peripheral layer part, and comparatively small ones are captured in the inner peripheral layer part. Consequently, clogging of the filter paper in the inner peripheral layer part is reduced. The desired filtering performance can easily be set by selecting the nonwoven fabric and filter paper. The assurance of filtering performance and the extension of the service life with simple adjustment can be combined. The outer edge of the filter body 31 is sealed with a molding part 32. A mounting part 50 for mounting a sub-tank 11 is installed at the molding part 32. Since the mounting part 50 is formed integrally with the molding part 32 at the same time, the number of parts is reduced.
