    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat structure having a seat back part which has an improved vibration absorption characteristic and also has high effect of suppressing off-balancing of a posture of a seated person due to right and left inertia force.SOLUTION: A base net 170 for backing is stretched in a back frame 100 of a seat back part 10, and a flexible plate member 180 is arranged with only an upper part sewn in the base net 170 for backing. Since the base net 170 for backing is stretched in the back frame 100, the base net 170 itself hardly moves relatively in a shearing direction. However, since the flexible plate member 180 is arranged between the base net 170 for backing and a surface skin 200, the flexible plate member 180 is apt to rotationally move with a vicinity corresponding to a pelvic region as a point of force application when force is applied to a compression direction caused by weight of a seated person, the compression direction being a direction from the surface skin 200 toward the base net 170 for backing. Thereby, shearing stress is caused by the flexible plate member 180, and relative movement is generated between the base net 170 for backing and the surface skin 200 for backing, the relative movement contributes to the improvement of the vibration absorption characteristic under the hip of the seated person by generation of an anti-phase.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness and the weight of a seat back with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A pad 110 for a seat cushion, comprised of main pad portions 111 and 112 and a peripheral pad portion 113, is installed in a cushion frame 100, with elasticity for energizing upward the rear edges of the main pad portions 111 and 112 relative to the peripheral pad portion 113. In short, the main pad portions 111 and 112 on which a person is seated has upward elasticity even without arranging a metal spring or the like. Thus the pad, even though formed of a material thinner than before (urethane or the like), can have desired characteristics such as a stroke feeling, vibration absorbing characteristics, impact absorbing characteristics while the person is seated, therefore contributing to downsizing with a simple configuration.
