    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film coated metal sheet excellent in can making properties, its manufacturing method and a polyester film coated metal can having excellent characteristics. SOLUTION: The polyester film coated metal sheet is constituted by coating a metal sheet with a polyester film (AF) of layer (I)/layer (II)/layer (III) on the inner surface of a can and coating the metal sheet with a polyester film (BF) on the outer surface of the can. Herein, the layer (I) and the layer (III) comprise a mixed polyester wherein wax is compounded with a mixture of ethylene terephthalate and butylene terephthalate and the layer (II) comprises a polyester wherein 95 mol% or below of the total acid component residue is terephthalic acid residue and 5 mol% or above thereof comprises an ≥10C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. The polyester film (BF) comprises the same mixed polyester as the layer (I). The polyester films are respectively bonded and applied to both sides of the metal sheet under pressure so that the layer (I) or the layer (III) comes into contact with the metal sheet on the inner surface side of the can and the polyester film (BF) comes into contact with the metal sheet on the outer surface side of the can to obtain the polyester film coated metal sheet.
