摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical functional membrane which has excellent gas barrier property such as moistureproofness firstly, and to provide an antiglare-antireflection film which has antiglare property and antireflection property at the same time and can reduce reflection of light in the interfaces of layers inside the film and its manufacturing method secondarily. SOLUTION: On a transparent substrate film 11, an antiglare layer 12 whose surface is finely uneven is formed directly or through another layer, and further a low-refractive-index layer 13 having a lower refractive index than that of the antiglare layer 12 is formed thereupon. The antiglare layer 12 has a higher refractive index than that of a layer in contact with the surface of the low refractive index 13, the surface being on the opposite side from the surface with which the antiglare layer 12 is in contact. An SiO x film may be used for the low refractive index 13. The SiO x film itself has excellent gas barrier property as an optical functional membrane and is excellent in moistureproofness, scratch resistance, adhesion to a substrate, transparency, low-refractive-index property, dye deterioration prevention property, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an antireflection coating whose refractive index increases in steps from the outermost surface to a transparent base and an antireflection film. CONSTITUTION:A layer of ultramicro powders is formed directly or via an intermediate layer over a transparent base film. The layer of ultramicro powders may be formed either by application of a dispersion liquid of ultramicro powders not containing binder resin or by application of a dispersion liquid of ultramicro powders containing a binder resin whose surface tension is weak enough so that the surface of ultramicro powders is exposed. The coating obtained completely exposes the ultramicro powders with no film of binder resin on their surface, thereby forming an uneven outermost layer in which air and the ultramicro powders intermingle. When the binder resin is used the antireflection coating comprises an air layer 1 contacted with the coating, an ultramicro powder/air layer 2 forming the outermost layer of the coating, a layer 3 of ultramicro powders, and a lowermost ultramicro powder/binder layer 4, with the refractive index of the coating increasing in a stepwise gradient from the surface to the base. Therefore, reflection of light can be prevented effectively.

The treated metal oxide ultrafine particles are dispersed in an ionizing radiation-setting type resin. The obtd. liquid is applied on a base plastic film 1 to form a hard coating layer 2. Further, an antireflection film 3 may be formed thereon by vapor deposition or coating.
