SOLUTION: The counter edges of a rectangular lamination, which has a base layer and an inner layer made of an easily peelable heat adhesive resin, are superposed and glued together by heat to form a cylindrical body having a mating sealed part. A folding part having a V-shaped side section is formed on both sides of the cylindrical body, and upper/lower openings are sealed at the upper/lower end heat adhesive parts of the cylindrical body to form the gusset type packaging bag 1. The upper end heat adhesive part 3 consists of a first upper end heat adhesive part 30 which extends from a side edge closer to one folding part toward the other folding part, a second upper end heat adhesive part 31 which is connected to the termination of the first heat adhesive part 30 and extends toward a side edge closer to the other folding part, and a third upper end heat adhesive part 32 which is connected to the termination of the second heat adhesive part 31 and extends toward the edge of the upper opening. The adhesive parts 30, 31, 32 are so fomed that the upper end heat adhesive part 3 has a nonadhesive part C closer to one folding part, the nonadhesive part C extending from the edge of the upper opening toward the lower opening.
