When any of the BM and the chromatic pigments with trichromatic colors, and the columnar spacers provided as needed basis include pigments, each of the columnar spacers is formed by including any one of the black pigment and the chromatic pigment. When the pigment after the composition is washed with water with conductivity of 50 μS/cm or less, the volume resistivity of the pigment itself is 10Ω cm or more and an average particle size thereof is 10 nm to 200 nm.
