摘要： PURPOSE: To provide titled composition of adequate viscosity and resistivity and highly stable dispersibility, capable of clear printing on such dark and/or black color-based items as wood, steel plate and pipe, comprising a colorant consisting of white pigment of specific particle size, solvent, and integrating resin.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition comprising, preferably (A) 5W40wt% of a white pigment with a particle size ≤3μm (pref. titanium dioxide), (B) 55W 90wt% of an organic solvent such as ethanol, methylethyl ketone (pref. containing 2W10wt% of an acetic acid ester), (C) 0.3W1.0pt.wt. per 1pt.wt. of the white pigment, of an integrating resin such as a rosin-modified maleic acid resin or ketone resin, and (E) 0.25W5wt% of a resistivity regulator for bringing the resistivity of the final ink to 2,000Ω.cm or lower (e.g., lithium nitrate, sodium thiocyanate).
USE: For steel plate provided with corrosion-proof treatment, oxidized film-coated steel plate, tin-deposited iron plate, etc.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer paper having favorable adhesion of an ink layer to a high molecular weight film and free of abnormal transfer, by using a butyral resin having a reactive functional group and a cross-linking agent as a binder for an ink layer. CONSTITUTION:The binder consists of a butyral resin and a cross-linking agent. As the cross-linking agent, there are known phenolic resins, epoxy resins, melamine resins, polyisocyantes and dialdehydes, of which di- or triisocyanates are particularly effective. The polyisocyanate is preferably used in an amount of not more than 50wt% per 100wt% of the binder. If the amount is more than 50wt%, the hardness of the ink layer itself is higher and adhesion of the layer to the film is poor, though a favorable film-forming property is obtained. Since the pot life at the time of coating is determined by the amount of the polyisocyanate added, the pot life can be freely controlled by regulating the amount of the polyisocyanate, an optimum amount being not more than 10wt%. A dye, the binder and a solvent are preferably used in amounts of 1-20wt%, 2-40wt% and 40-97wt%, respectively.

Such a composite type photosensitive body is obtained, e.g., by forming a layer contg. the charge generating material on a conductive substrate and on this layer a layer contg. the charge transfer material or it may have a reverse constitution, or both materials may be contained in one layer. The use of a combination of such a charge generating and charge transfer materials enhances sensitivity even in a long wavelength region, and the obtained photosensitive body is especially suitable for a semiconductor laser printer using a semiconductor laser as a light source.

CONSTITUTION:An alpha-type metal-free phthalocyanine is stirred or milled with mechanical stress at 50-180 deg.C, pref. 60-130 deg.C for a sufficient period of time to convert its crystal form into other one, whereby the desired metal-free phthalocyanine crystal polymorphism characterized by an X-ray diffraction pattern with intensive lines at Bragg angles (2theta+ or -0.2 deg.) of 7.5, 9.1, 16.8, 17.3, 20.3, 21.4 and 27.4 can be obtd. Examples of the alpha-type phthalocyanines to be used are those prepd. according to method described by Moser and Thomas. The particles of the resulting crystal polymorphism are very soft and can be easily dispersed in a vehicle so that when the particles are incorporated in paints, the paints do not suffer lowering in tinting power and thickening during storage.
