    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a de Dion type rear suspension including a carrier which has sufficient strength against an impact in a vertical direction, and a hub bearing which can be attached/detached to/from the inside of a vehicle.SOLUTION: This rear suspension 10 includes an axle beam 12, and carriers 30 disposed at the end parts of the axle beam 12. A hub is connected to an end part of the carrier 30. The hub is rotatably supported by the hub bearing. The hub bearing is fixed to the carrier 30 from the inside of the vehicle. An attachment/detachment opening for attaching/detaching the hub bearing is formed on an inner side face 34 of the carrier 30. An upper extension part and a lower extension part are extended upward and downward with respect to the attachment/detachment part. The both extension parts are connected by a connecting part vertically extended between them.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support swing-movement of a suspension arm and normalize the behavior of tires by pressing a part of a bush to a control bevel formed on a vehicle body, when the bush is relatively moved in a vehicle width direction by a cornering force acted on the tires. SOLUTION: When a vehicle is, for instance, turned to left, a left cornering force is generated on a pair of left and right tires 8, 9, and thus a rubber bush 17 of an elastic bush 3 is pressed against an inner panel 13. In this case, the inner panel 13 has a control bevel 24 on its inner side, and the bush 17 has a protrusion 25 on its end face. A moving range of the protrusion 25 is selected so as not to contact a vertical wall 27 when working. Consequently, when the protrusion 25 starts to contact the control bevel 24, the force element is generated in a rebound direction 26 due to an inclination of the control bevel 24 to support the rebound behavior of a trailing arm 1. Therefore, swing-movement of a suspension arm is supported and the tire behavior is normalized.

While a pressure receiving part 26 exposed in the shaft direction from an outer cylinder 21 is formed in a bush 17, this part is made to correspond to the control inclined face 24.
