    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire feeder which hardly gives rise to feeding unevenness and can maintain good wire feedability, a welding equipment which hardly gives rise to a welding defect in consumable electrode process arc welding and a welding method.
      SOLUTION: A rotary cylinder 40 is rotatably (loosely rotatably) fitted from an outer side to a stationary shaft 20 attached like a cantilever to a reel strut 10. The rotary cylinder 40 is attachably and detachably inserted from an inner side to a wire reel 50 wound with a wire 301 and attached to the stationary shaft 20 rotatably integrally together with the rotary cylinder 40. A spring back member 60 adds thrust force S, i.e., the pressing force in a thrust direction from a free end side toward a supporting end side to the rotary cylinder 40 and a bearing member 70 in contact with the rotary cylinder 40 is arranged in order to accept the thrust force S added by this spring back member 60.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shield welding device which can prevent the oxidization at a weld zone and the coloring due to the oxidization by sufficiently applying the shield gas to a part to be welded of a member and by quickly cooling the weld zone after welding even if the member to be welded is made of, for example, an active metal such as titanium and a titanium alloy and also even when the part to be welded of such a member is welded at high speed.
      SOLUTION: The gas shield welding device is provided with a chamber surrounding the part to be welded of the member, a torch inserted into the chamber, and a trailing means arranged at the rear of the torch in the chamber. The member to be welded and/or the torch and the trailing means are moved in the chamber substituted by an inactive gas. Simultaneously, the part to be welded is welded by using the torch. The inactive gas is sprayed to the weld zone from the trailing means immediately after welding.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetostriction measuring member which has large accepting torque and shows high sensitivity to the magnetostriction by providing a specific band-shaped thick layer in the outer periphery of a steel shaft material made of carbon steel or alloy steel. CONSTITUTION:The magnetostriction measuring member uses a steel shaft material made of carbon steel or alloy steel. For the carbon steel, SC material, S-CK material, etc., is employed. For the alloy steel, e.g. SCr material, SMn material or the like which is a kind of steel for mechanical structure is used. A band-shaped thick layer formed of Fe-Al alloy containing 1-50wt.% Al is provided on the surface of the shaft material. If the content of Al is too small, the hysteresis is greatly varied when the torque is detected. Therefore, the content, of Al is set to be not smaller than 5wt.% Moreover, if Al is contained too much, the sensitivity is lowered, and therefore the content should be 15wt.% or lower so as to increase the detecting sensitivity. When the band-shaped thick layer is too thick, it cracks, and therefore, the band-shaped layer is 3mm thick or thinner. Further, if the layer is too hard, it also generates cracks, and therefore the layer is adapted to have Vickers hardness Hv=420 or smaller.
