    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of cleaning air by charging to polluted air by negative ion by applying negative high voltage to a discharge electrode and the dust collection and capable of blowing the clean air containing negative ion by decomposing the ozone generating together with the negative ion. SOLUTION: The air cleaner is provided with an ion generator 2 having the discharge electrode 21a and capable of charging the dust by generating corona discharge by applying high voltage to the discharge electrode 21a, an electric dust collecting part 6 having a counter electrode 31b for collecting the dust charged by the ion generator 2 and an ozone decomposition filter 4 provided with an ozone catalyst for decomposing the ozone generating at the ion generator 2 and a base material of the ozone catalyst formed of a conductive body, and these are disposed so that the negative ion is blown in a room by applying the negative high voltage to the discharge electrode 21a and the ozone decomposition filter 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure that can suppress vibration transmitted to an air cleaner via a bracket. SOLUTION: In a bracket for installing an air cleaner to a seat back 1, an anchor portion 6A is held at top and bottom sides thereof between one end portion 2a of an upper metal fitting 2 and a lower metal fitting 3. Further, the one end portion 2a of the upper metal fitting 2 and a receiver 3c of the lower metal fitting 3 are fastened by a screw 7. Accordingly, the top face of the anchor portion 6A and the one end portion 2a of the upper metal fitting 2, as well as the bottom face of the anchor portion 6A and the bottom potion 3a of the lower metal fitting 3, come into close contact. Consequently, a gap between the anchor portion 6A and the bracket which causes looseness is eliminated and the bracket can be surely fixed to the anchor portion 6A, thus suppressing vibration transmitted to the air cleaner via the bracket. Therefore, even an air cleaner incorporating electrically controlled parts that are vulnerable to vibration can be installed to the seat back 1.

The switching door 10 is controlled to be switched by a temperature sensor 9 for detecting the temperature in the air purifier unit 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for a vehicle capable of deodorizing a cabin at the time of parking. SOLUTION: A deodorizing filter 6 used to an air cleaner 1 is constituted by attaching a photocatalyst particle such as titanium oxide etc., to an adsorbent (e.g. an activated carbon filter) composed of porous material, and is arranged in the lower part of a spit hole 8 exposed to sunshine. A blower 4 for generating an air flow in the air cleaner 1 case 2 actuates a solar battery 3 as an electric power source. Consequently the blower 4 can be actuated even at the time of parking, to operate the air cleaner 1 similarly at the time of travel to purify a cabin inside. Activated carbon used to the filter 6 lowers the adsorption capacity of the activated carbon with the increase of the adsorption quantity of an odor component, but the adsorption capacity of the activated carbon can be recovered by the action of a photocatalyst. Since the photocatalyst is activated by receiving the ultraviolet ray of the sunshine, the filter 6 can be refreshed at the time of not only the travel of a vehicle but also even parking.
