    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device capable of reducing pressure pulsation of a high pressure fuel system in an internal combustion engine having a plurality of common rails in structure.
      SOLUTION: This device is provided with a multicyliner internal combustion engine 100 having a bank 111 in which a group of cylinders L1 to L3 and R1 to R3 is arranged, an injector 28 provided for every cylinder of the internal combustion engine 100, the common rails 29 for accumulating high pressure fuel to be supplied to the injector 28, and a high pressure pump 54 for discharging high pressure fuel to the common rails 29. The common rails 29 (29a and 29b) are arranged for every bank 111a and 111b. A fuel supply passage 33 for supplying high pressure fuel to the common rails 29a and 29b from the high pressure pump 54 is connected to each of the common rails 29a and 29b in parallel.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device capable of restricting the valve opening bounce of a valve member. SOLUTION: This fuel injection device is provided with a cylindrical movable core 14 housed in a valve body 11 freely to be moved for reciprocation integrally with the valve member and a cylindrical fixed core 12 having one end facing to one end of the movable core 14 in its downstream and having an outer peripheral wall tightly brought in contact with the inner peripheral wall of the valve body 11. The end 15 of the movable core 14 opposite to the fixed core 12 is formed with an annular projecting part 50 projected toward the fixed core 12 in the peripheral side of a cylindrical hole 54 and continued to the cylindrical hole 54 and a recessed part 52 more recessed than the projecting part 50 in the outer peripheral side of the projecting part 50 and continued to the outer peripheral wall of the opposite end 15. The distance dc of a clearance between the outer peripheral wall of the opposite end 15 and the inner peripheral wall of the valve body 11 is set at 15-25 μm.
