    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a low-cost optical card without using a high-cost optical recording material wastefully by using a roughed surface original plate with a pattern in units of an optical recording material part arranged finely. CONSTITUTION:A roughed surface original plate with a low reflective part having a roughed surface in accordance with an information recording pattern is prepared by arranging finely a pattern of a size equal to the unit of an optical recording material part. The optical recording medium with this information recording pattern formed is used as a surface roughed original plate 15, and a mother mask is duplicated based on the original plate 15 using a die-punching press. Next, the original plate 15 is parted from a transparent base 21 to duplicate a pattern on the base 21 side and thereby form a mother mask 23. After that, the mask 23 is used as a duplication original plate for mass-duplication and a base 101 of duplication resin 31 is duplicated by die-punching. Further, film 100a is peeled off and the base 101 is parted from the mask 23 to duplicate a pattern. Thus a low reflective rate part is formed on the surface of the resin 31 and the resin 31 becomes the base 101 of an optical card.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a low cost optical card by using a high priced optical recording material usefully. CONSTITUTION:In a method for manufacture of an optical card, a duplicated light transmissible base material 11 having a PET film wherein a required transfer peeling layer is provided to its rear surface from a roughened face original plate 15 via a mother mask 23 is formed by using the roughened face original plate 15 on which a pattern of an optical recording material part unit 104 is minutely arranged. Then, an optical recording material layer 102 is formed on the roughened face. Each optical recording material part unit is arranged at a specific position of a sheet shape optical card surface protective layer 110 by a thermal transfer system or a pressure-sensitive transfer system on the optical recording material 102 side via an adhesion layer 108. After peeling a peelable film, a side of the transfer peeling layer is stuck to an optical card base material 106, which is punched by an optical card unit thereafter.

    • PURPOSE:To stably perform sputtering work by providing the replacement chamber of a sputter plate to the workroom of a sputtering device via a valve and cleaning the shutter with the target material deposited thereon and also carrying the cleaned shutter into the workroom. CONSTITUTION:In the case of sputtering a target 12 to form a vapor-deposited film on the surfaces of a plurality of base plates 10 fitted to a pallet 11 in the workroom 1 of a sputtering device, a shutter A is moved between the target 12 and the base plates 10 to separate both. Thereafter the preliminary sputtering is performed to stabilize the surface of the target 12. In this case, when the target material is stuck on the rear surface of the shutter A and the amount thereof is increased, such trouble is generated that this stuck target material falls on the target 12 and abnormal discharge is caused. Therefore the shutter A is transferred into a replacement chamber 6 and replaced with the shutter B whose surface is previously cleaned by a grinder 14 in a cleaning chamber 8. Further the shutter A is transferred into the cleaning chamber 8 to clean the surface by the grinder 14 and allowed to stand. Sputtering work is stable performed because the shutter having the fresh surface can always be utilized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamper manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a stamper satisfying the standard of pattern dimension within a short time. SOLUTION: First, a photomask original having a pattern recorded corresponding to an optical information recording pattern is prepared (step 101), and then a duplicate photomask having a pattern dimension enlarged by a projection exposing device using the photomask original is made (step 102). Then, by using the duplicate photomask, a first resin duplicate original having a first recessed and projected part corresponding to the optical information recording pattern is made (step 103), and then by using the first resin duplicate original, a second resin duplicate original is made, the original having a second recessed and projecting part where a relationship of recess and projection is reversed from that of the first recessed and projected part (step 104). Subsequently, a metallic thin film is formed by vapor deposition on the second recessed and projected part of the second resin duplicate original (step 105), and thus a stamper 1 is manufactured.
