SOLUTION: The impeller 7 of the blower 4 is provided with resin round support plate 31, 41 rotating around rotary shaft and the plurality of the resin blades 32, 42. The blades 32, 42 are arranged on an outer circumference part of the round support plate 31, 41 in parallel with the rotary shaft and have the serration 53 like cutting off a plurality sections of the blade tip formed thereon. A height difference 61 is formed at a position of a predetermined distance from the blade tip having the serrations 53 formed thereon on a blade surface of each blade 32, 42.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct unit in which dew formation does not take place. SOLUTION: The duct unit 1 comprises a hose 2, a fan 3 disposed in the hose 2, a motor 4, and a controller 5. When a suction/ventilation unit connected to the indoor side of the hose 2 is operated, the motor 4 rotary drives the fan 3 to supply outdoor air to the suction/ventilation unit in the direction shown by an arrow C. When the suction/ventilation unit is stopped, the controller 5 instructs the motor 4 to rotary drive the fan 3 reversely so that air is introduced from the indoor side to the outdoor side as shown by an arrow D and supplied outdoors from the inside of the hose 2. Since outdoor air is prevented from flowing to the inside of the hose 2, temperature difference between the inside and outside of the hose 2 is eliminated and a dew formation is prevented on the inside and outside of the hose 2.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the acceleration efficiency of abrasive grains and improve the cutting performance by forming a taper hole on an abrasive grain guide passage, and focusing and accelerating a group of abrasive grains guided together with a high-pressure air stream via the taper hole into a jet state to collide with a high-pressure water jet. CONSTITUTION:An abrasive water jet device is provided with an abrasive grain mixing chamber 6 where a high-pressure water jet is fed from a high-pressure chamber 15a via an orifice 13, and abrasive grains are guided into the abrasive grain mixing chamber 6 together with a high-pressure air stream via an abrasive grain guide passage 17. The high-pressure water jet mixed with the abrasive grains in the abrasive grain mixing chamber 6 is sprayed toward a work from a nozzle section 11 to cut a metal material or a stone. A throttle member 19 having a taper hole 19a made thinner toward the downstream side from the upstream side is formed on the abrasive grain guide passage 17. The abrasive grain containing high-pressure air stream is fed into the abrasive grain mixing chamber 6 via the taper hole 19a to collide with the high-pressure water jet, thus the high-pressure water jet is properly disturbed, and the abrasive grains can be mixed into the center of the high-pressure water jet.
