摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible the lowering of an NZ sound (interference sound between introduced air and a crossflow fan) and a higher efficiency of a heat exchanger by modifying the structure of a tongue part which separates the upstream side from the downstream side of the cross fan and a peripheral part thereof. SOLUTION: The height dimension of a tongue part 15 positioned between the lower end part of a heat exchanger 6a and a cross flow fan 7 is shortened to such an extent as not to block the function of the tongue part 15. A stationary blade 16 comprising a cylindrical member extending horizontally is arranged at an upper position where a specified clearance exists to the tip of the tongue part 15. Air flowing between the tongue part 15 and the stationary blade 16 is changed to a flow along a circumferential perimeter of the fan 7 by a Coanda effect attributed to an circumferential circular arc surface 16a of the stationary blade 16.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of water droplets even if the droplets of condensed water are generated on surfaces of flat plate-like fins by providing grooves for guiding the water along ends of the fins of both sides at least its lower side of a vertical direction. SOLUTION: Flat plate-like fins 21, 22 aligned at a predetermined interval are arranged by inserting a heat transfer tube into the fins 21, 22 along their arranging direction. The air sucked from both sides via a heat exchanger 2 is diffused in a direction of an arrow R1 by rotating a supply fan 3. Grooves 11, 12 are provided along their ends at both ends of the fins 21, 22 of the exchanger 2. Thus, even when water wettability on surfaces of the fins 21, 22 is lowered, water droplets of condensed water generated on the surfaces are guided down via the groves 11, 12, and dripped to a drain pan or the like from lower ends of the fins 21, 22 and hence scattering of the droplets can be prevented.

On the maximum outer diameter part 5, a projection part 21 or a recess part are formed according to the height of a weld 18 of the heating tube 3.
