    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability of a scroll compressor by facilitating coupling of a suction pipe connector 19a to a cover body 14, even if the direction for fixing a barrel body 11 and the cover body 14 and the direction of inserting the suction pipe connector 19a into a suction path 29 are different from each other, in regard to a scroll compressor comprising a casing comprising a vertically long cylindrical barrel body 11 and an arm-like cover body 14 fixed to both ends of the barrel body 11 and a suction pipe connector 19a to be inserted into a suction path 29 of a compressing mechanism 20 through a through-hole provided in the cover body 14.
      SOLUTION: A cylindrical connector pipe 15 is provided between an outer peripheral surface of a suction pipe connector 19a and an inner peripheral surface of the through-hole with one end communicated with a suction opening 13 of the suction path 29, and with the other end coupled to the outer peripheral surface of the suction pipe connector 19a.
