    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish motion between a suspension point connected to a vehicle body or a chassis and a non-suspension point such as a point constituting a part of a wheel carrier while reducing variation of force generated by a suspension viewed from the suspension point.
      SOLUTION: The suspension device is provided with an elastic link 1 mounted between the suspension point and the non-suspension point, and the elastic link is mainly constituted by a spring of spring constant K having predetermined length under a reference load and a reversible electric jack 5 for controlling motion between the suspension point and the non-suspension point. The device has a means for controlling the electric jack and firstly follows to the spring based on variation of a distance between the suspension point and the non-suspension point caused by relative displacement of the suspension point and the non-suspension point regardless of a direction of displacement. Whereas, the device feeds an electric energy to the electric jack 5 to generate force directed to the same direction as displacement. Thereafter, it relaxes the force generated by the electric jack 5 and cancels the force within a predetermined relaxing time.
