    • PURPOSE:To prevent production of a gas by applying a DC voltage between a support member and a cover in the air-tight sealing method in which the support member and the cover are bonded under vacuum or in an inert gas thereby anodically bonding the support member and the cover. CONSTITUTION:A bonding film 23 made of Cr and Si is formed onto a cover 15 made of a glass ceramics. On the other hand, a glass ceramics is used for a support member 14 to make the thermal expansion coefficient between the cover 15 and the support member 14 coincident with each other. Then a piezoelectric vibrator chip 17 is supported and fixed to the support member 14. Then the cover 15 and the support member 14 are tightly come into contact therewith and a positive voltage electrode 25 is connected to the cover 15 and a negative electrode 27 is connected to the support member 14 with a DC power supply 26 under vacuum or in an inert gas. Then a voltage of several 10s-several hundreds is applied to the electrodes for several tens seconds. Thus, a large electrostatic attractive force is produced between the glass and the silicon to air-tightly seal the support member 14 and the cover 15.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the secular change of a frequency by supporting and fixing the side of both short sides of a crystal piece in a rectangular shape by the electrically conductive adhesive material of an Si group or the like, hermetically joining a cover to a terminal member by an inorganic material and forming a container whose inner part is evacuated. SOLUTION: The crystal piece is supported and fixed on both sides, the long side direction of the crystal piece 6 is turned to a Z axis and both end side parts composed of an X axis orthogonally crossing it are supported and fixed by the electrically conductive adhesive material 5. That is, it is taken into consideration that thickness- shear vibration waves vibrated at an excitation electrode provided on the crystal piece 6 are propagated in an X axis direction and propagated little to a Z axis direction, by supporting and fixing the Z axis direction, an effect to the thickness-shear vibration is made small. Also, in the case of supporting and fixing the crystal piece 6 on one side, the crystal piece 6 is supported and fixed to electrode pad parts 4 at two parts by the electrically conductive adhesive material and the thickness-shear vibration waves are small in the Z axis direction. Thus, the frequency is stabilized by the electrically conductive adhesive material 5. Then, by evacuating the inner part of the container, the gas inside the container is reduced and the frequency is stabilized.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a crystal resonator in which high frequency resonator structure to which photolithographic technique and etching technique can be applied, and the dispersion of crystal resonator characteristic such as temperature characteristic can be reduced, and high accuracy for resonator characteristic can be obtained, and equivalent series resistance can be lowered, and furthermore, the surface coarseness of the working surface of a crystal piece can be small and the aging change in the crystal resonator characteristic can be suppressed. CONSTITUTION:The crystal piece 13 setting one side of a crystal substrate segmented from a crystal raw ore as an X-axis, and consisting of the crystal substrate with a plane XY' comprised of a Y'-axis whose angle theta is inclined between 30-40 deg. directing a Y-axis to a Z-axis centering the X-axis and generated from an XY' plane substrate is formed in structure integral with a supporting frame 11 setting the XY' plane as a main plane, and the oscillation frequency of the crystal piece 13 is decided by width size in the direction of Y'-axis, and electrode film 15, 17, and 19 for excitation are provided at the terminal parts of an XZ' plane and the XY' plane.
