The horizontal seedling box transport mechanism makes each of the seedling boxes face an operator, horizontally transports the box to a place suitable for a working position of the operator, and stops the box. When outermost seedling box among two or more seedling boxes is horizontally transported, the seedling boxes are mutually pushed and then horizontally transported by being interlocked with each other.
