    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for preventing floating of underground structure, capable of ensuring safety in stepping-up and -down, taking excess pore water pressure (buoyancy) caused by liquefaction into a manhole or culvert that is an underground structure, and attaining rapid drainage through a combination of drainage by overflow and drainage with a draining pressure adjustment device.
      SOLUTION: In the underground structure 1 such as the manhole, a recessed part and a through-hole continued thereto, the through-hole connecting between the underground side and the inside of the underground structure, are linearly bored in a plurality of positions of the circumferential wall of the underground structure in the axial direction of the manhole while avoiding step positions. A water catchment pipe with an excavating head attached to its top end is disposed in the recessed part and through-hole while intruding into the ground in a predetermined length. A first tee is attached to the base part of the water catchment pipe, and a second tee having a draining pressure adjustment device is attached to the base end of the water catchment pipe of the bottom stage. The first tee is connected to a guide pipe vertically provided within the manhole and disposed with its upper end above the ground water level, and the second tee is connected to the lower end of the guide pipe.
