    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for liquid phase diffusion welding capable of efficiently forming a welded portion with less defects and high strength by completing the heating and pressing at adequate timing.
      SOLUTION: A clamping device 10 clamps a tube 23 to be welded and a tube 22 to be welded so that their welded end 23E and welded end 22E' face each other with a space therebetween, and an amorphous sheet 25 is arranged therebetween. The amorphous sheet 25 is clamped by applying the energizing force to the welded end 23E and the welded end 22E' by using an energizing unit 10'x added to the clamping device 10. In addition, the amorphous sheet 25, the welded end 23E and the welded end 22E' are heated and melted by an induction heating coil 2c under the pressure, and then, solidified to form a welded portion. It is detected by using a swell sensor 7 that the transverse swelling ratio of the welded ends 23E, 22E' reaches a predetermined value, and the temperature and the pressure of the welded portion are lowered.

The distance adjustment mechanism part 10e includes an arm 10e' with one end thereof connected to the third holding unit 10b, and an arm fixing means 10e" mounted on the connection part to fix the position of the arm 10e'.
