    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper based alloy for a mold particularly having excellent high temperature fatigue strength and wear resistance, and further, to provide a copper based alloy for a mold also having creep properties (high temperature strength), tensile strength, electric conductivity, heat resistance, ductility, bending workability or the like, and in which, regarding production, cold forging whose cost is made high can be obviated.
      SOLUTION: A copper based alloy for a mold as the first invention comprises, by wt.%, 0.05 to 1.0% Ti, 0.05 to 2.0% Cr and 0.05 to 0.7% Zr, and the balance Cu with impurities, and having excellent high temperature fatigue strength and wear resistance. A copper based alloy for a mold as the second invention further comprises one or more kinds of elements selected from 0.05 to 1.5% Ni, 0.03 to 1.0% Nb and 0.05 to 1.0% Sn in the first invention. A copper based alloy for a mold as the third invention further comprises one or more kinds of elements selected from 0.05 to 1.0% Fe, 0.10 to 1.0% Co, 0.05 to 1.5% Mn, 0.01 to 2.0% Al, 0.01 to 1.0% Mg, 0.01 to 1.5% Si, 0.001 to 1.0% B, 0.01 to 1.0% Be, 0.05 to 1.0% Pb and 0.05 to 1.0% Bi in the first invention.
