    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze an extremely small amount of a harmful metal element or the like in a fluorescent X-ray analyzing method which enables its analysis on a soil treatment site or the like but insufficient in analyzing capacity, and a column and a system used in the fluorescent X-ray analyzing method.
      SOLUTION: The fluorescent X-ray analyzing method of a very small amount of an element in water includes a step (1) for passing a liquid to be analyzed through the column filled with a chelating polymer having a functional group, which has the chelate forming capacity with a metal and/or a metalloid, in its side chain to adsorb the metal and/or the metalloid in the liquid to be analyzed by the chelating polymer, a step (2) for irradiating the chelating polymer having adsorbed the metal and/or the metalloid with fluorescent X-rays to perform fluorescent X-ray element analysis and a step (3) for converting the obtained element analysis value to the concentration of the element in the liquid to be analyzed.
