    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved technology for driving an oscillating pile which is used in conjunction with an earth auger, which eliminates the need for a crane used exclusively for an auger, and which can strongly intrude a steel pipe pile into the ground.
      SOLUTION: A leader 12 is erected, and a hanger 14 of an oscillating pile driver which is supported and guided by the leader can be moved up and down. The auger 16 is supported and guided, and can be moved up and down by the leader. The screw 17 of the auger is inserted into the steel pipe pile 7, and earth and sand can be excavated by the auger. The chuck 15 for the steel pipe pile of the oscillating pile driver is rotary-driven about the axis with respect to a vibration generator 13. Then the performance of the steel pipe pile for intrusion into the ground can be greatly improved by the rotation of the steel pipe pile 7 about the axis.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a water pump upon the occurrence of an abnormal situation by improving a water jet device for driving a pile.
      SOLUTION: The water pump 11 sucks, pressurizes and discharges water in a water tank 10, and supplies it to a nozzle 4 through a hose 9. The nozzle 4 is mounted to a socket 2 fixed to a pile 1. The discharge pressure of the water pump 11 is detected by a pressure sensor 14, and the detected signal is inputted in an automatic control device (CPU) 15 having a timer function. The automatic control device 15 has a function of identifying the rate of changes of a value of the inputted pressure signal and the inputted value itself. When the abnormal situation occurs in such a state that the water in the water tank disappears and the water pump 11 sucks air, or the nozzle 4 comes off out of the socket 2, the pump discharge pressure fluctuates according to a pattern particular to the abnormal situation. Then the automatic control device 15 determines what the abnormality is, and conducts control to reduce a load of the water pump 11.

      SOLUTION: An exciter 10 having a pile chuck 11 is installed on a turning base 4, and the turning base 4 is supported rotatively about a Z axis by a stationary base 2. When a pinion gear 18 is turned by driving a turning driving motor 17 installed on the stationary base 2, the turning gear 19 is turned about the Z axis to turn the turning base 4 and a turning arm 9 secured to the gear 19. Thus, the exciter 10 and the pile chuck 11 are turned with the arm 9 so that a building foundation pile 1 with the spiral-shaped tip section held by the chuck is turned about the Z axis and spirally driven into the ground. When the pile reaches the hard stratum and becomes hard to advance spirally, the exciter 10 is actuated to give the pile vibration for promoting rotary spiral advance.
