    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from pouring over a filter and to save space without having to displace the filter and a slit provided in a cover. SOLUTION: In an oil hydraulic shovel provided with a driver's cabin 5, an outside-air introduction part 13 for taking outside-air in an air conditioner is provided on the left side surface of the driver's cabin 5 opposite a working machine. In the outside-air introduction part 13, the filter 20 for removing dust from the outside air is mounted to a filter-mounting part 18a of an inside inlet 18 at the center of a side panel 16. The openable and closable cover 15 is provided in such a way as to be opposed to the outside of the filter 20. The cover 15 includes a plurality of slits 25 and stepped plates 24 for introducing the outside air are alternately. An inner wall 22 is fixed to the back surface of the cover 15.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a reinforcing material 18 to a right-angled corner between a right rear-side column material 10 and a right downside beam material 15 which frame and form a cab 5 of a hydraulic excavator 1 so as to prevent the buckling of the thin-walled right downside beam material 15.
      SOLUTION: The reinforcing material 18 is made pass through a through portion 15a which is formed at an upside surface of a right downside beam material body 15a; a second bent surface 18b which is formed in the reinforcing material 18, abuts on the downside surface of the right downside beam material body 15a via a surface; and a thick-walled floor surface 19 abuts on the downside surface of the right downside beam material body 15a via a surface. Thus, when a load acts in the direction of decreasing an angle formed between the right rear-side column material 10 and the right downside beam material 15, the load is borne by a floor board 20. Consequently, even if the right downside beam material 15 is a thin-walled hollow material with small strength, the right downside beam material 15 can be protected without being buckled so as to achieve an increase in the strength of a cab 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure having strength enough to prevent dropping-off of a cab 6 when an excessive load acts on the cab 6 due to turnover of a hydraulic shovel 1 or the like.
      SOLUTION: A front strut 9 and a front lower beam member 16 are reinforced by welding a frame reinforcing member 19 having a portal sectional shape therebetween, and a first support member 20 extending through the cylindrical front lower beam member 16 is made rigid by welding it to the front lower beam member 16 and the frame reinforcing member 19 respectively. Further, a machine frame 5 is integrated to the first support member 20 by allowing a flange-like part 21b to abut on a collar part 21a from the lower side of the machine frame 5 with a collar part 21a penetrating through the machine frame 5 in contact with the lower end of the first support member 20, and screwing a bolt 22 to the first support member 20 through the flange-like part 21b and the collar part 21a. Thus, the flange-like part 21b abuts on the machine frame 5 upon action of a load to drop off the cap 6, whereby the cab 6 is supported not to drop off.
