    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction recovery method for an ink-jet recording device that enables ink to surely fill ink channels and nozzles without causing adverse effects such as taking-in of air-bubbles while minimizing a waste ink amount during a suction recovery.
      SOLUTION: The suction recovery method for an ink-jet recording device is composed so as to suck ink inside a recording head by generating a negative pressure inside a cap after capping a face surface of the recording head by the cap. The suction recovery method is performed by the following steps, that is, at first, a first suction step to generate a filter-part-suction negative pressure for separating the air-bubbles from a filter part, subsequently, a second suction step to generate an ink-channel-suction negative pressure for sucking the ink inside the ink channels and large nozzles, and then, a third suction step for sucking the ink from small nozzles.
