    • PURPOSE:To prevent colors from being mixed owing to the scattering and falling of a developer by providing an intrusion preventing member which moves associatively with the position shift of a developing device and prevents a developer from intruding the developing device. CONSTITUTION:When a red image is obtained, a red developing device 4 is at a development on position nearby a photosensitive drum 1 and a black developing device 5 is at a distant development off position. Namely, the red developing device 4 is pressed toward the photosensitive drum 1 by a red development pressure cam 15 provided on a shaft 14 through a pressure spring 13 in response to a signal from an operation part to enter a developing operation ready state. At this time, a red developing roll 4a rotates as shown by an arrow 4X to supply a red developer 4b to the photosensitive drum 1 and the black developing device 5, on the other hand, is placed at the development off position sufficiently distant from the photosensitive drum 1 through the operation of a return spring provided to a main-body side plate 22. When a black image is obtained, on the other hand, the red developing device 4 is released from being pushed in response to a signal from the operation part and the black developing device 5 is put close to the photosensitive drum 1.

When a developing device 3 is moved to a development off position separated from a photosensitive drum 2, the operating member 3c of the developing device 4 is disengaged from the shutter 20, which rotates with the force of the spring 22 as shown by an arrow A and stops where its projection 20a engages a stopper 20d, thereby blocking the discharging port 5a of the hopper 5 with the shutter 20.

    • PURPOSE: To provide reduction in weight and size and improvement in accuracy and to decrease the number of parts by uniting a lens base and lens barrel.
      CONSTITUTION: A lens barrel part 11 for contg. a square lens 10 is square and a guide part 12 is positioned integrally with the part 11 in the position corresponding to the lens base by which the lens barrel 14 is constituted. The part 11 and the part 12 are integrally molded of a synthetic resin by a molding method. A guide rail 13 fixed at both ends to the body of a copying machine is slid into the part 12. A wire 17 is wound to a pulley 16 fixed to the shaft end of a pulse motor 15 for driving lens. The wire 17 is wound on pulleys 18, 19 and the end is fixed to a stopper 21 of the part 12. The pulse motor is engaged with the lens barrel 14 via the wire 17 and is so controlled as to be driven by as much as the prescribed number of pulses from the reference signal generated by a sensor plate 23 fixed to a lens home position sensor 22 fixed as a contactless displacement meter and the lens barrel 14.
