    • PURPOSE:To provide a small, lightweight and easily-detachable ultrasonic flaw- detector for detecting a flaw in a straight pipe, an elbow welded part, etc., by a method wherein a probe movement part installed at a circumferential ring is provided with a first ultrasonic probe and a probe holding arm installed at the probe movement part is provided with a second ultrasonic probe. CONSTITUTION:A circumferential ring 24 is supported by rollers 25, 26 for circumferential ring support, and it is driven by pinions 27, 28 for circumferential ring drive. A probe movement part 31 is attached to an arm 6 installed at the ring 24. An air cylinder 32, a probe mounting part 33, an ultrasonic probe 7, a probe mounting part 34, an air cylinder 35, a probe support arm 36 and an ultrasonic probe 37 are attached to the movement part 31. The probes 7, 37 are held by the arm 36 in the length direction of a pipe with reference to one probe movement part 31. As a result, the arm 6 becomes short by the protruding-length portion of the arm 36, and a curved part such as an elbow or the like in the pipe does not constitute an obstacle. In addition, a load which is applied to the circumferential ring is reduced. and also a driving gear can be miniaturized.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a smaller inspector with excellent radiation resistance concerning a fluorescence permeation flaw inspection of a deposit weld part of a neutron flux monitoring housing at a lower part of a reactor pressure vessel. CONSTITUTION:A permeation flaw detector 5 is set right above a through hole 3b of a neutron flux monitoring housing within a reactor with a setting mechanism 6. The permeation flaw detector 5 has three types of drive mechanisms--a lift shaft drive mechanism 14, an encircling shaft drive mechanism 15 and a radial shaft drive mechanism 16--and a flaw liquidcoating mechanism 9 is arranged at the tips of the drive mechanisms. A camera mechanism 10 having a supermini CCD camera is held with a camera mounting mechanism 11 to be inserted into the reactor through the through hole 3b from a pedestal at an external lower part of a pressure vessel and mounted at the tip of the flaw liquid coating mechanism 9 by a remote control. Three types of drive mechanisms are operated and a plurality of surfaces to be inspected of a deposit weld part or the like undergoes a liquid permeation flaw detection to observe the results of the flaw detection with the camera mechanism 10.

    • PURPOSE:To improve running performance of the device, small-size, lighten the device and shorten the detaching time by fixing one side of wheel support of a scanning device and making the other side free of fixing and opening and by giving and releasing excess pressure to the wheel during attaching and detaching, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a wheel 8 supported with a scanning device 10 by a fixed supporter 12 is positioned on the side of a track, a pinion 11 gears to a rack 5. Then the slider 28 combined with a wheel shaft 29 is lowered by rotating a handle 16 in advance so that the coupling of a groove 33 with a rotation axis 30 is not obstracted by the interference of the lower side of a wheel 9 and a track 4. Then, opened leg 13 is lowered around a support shaft 31, the distorted part 32 of the rotation axis 30 is inserted in the groove 33 by rotating a handle 15 for 90 degree and the opened leg 13 is fixed to the support 14. By rotating the handle 16, the wheel 9 is pushed to the lower side of the track 4 with excess pressure. As a result, the device 10 is stably moved. To remove the device 10 from the track 4 can be done in a short time by operating the handle 16, 15 and the like in roughly reverse order to attaching.

    • PURPOSE:To set a scan position of a supersonic probe and an azimuth of a supersonic beam constantly at a target position and angle by detecting a running reference line and a running posture and changing the position of a scan arm which drives the supersonic probe. CONSTITUTION:A reference line of a welded part 2 or the like is detected by a welded part detecting sensor built into a scanner 10, while right and left magnetic crawlers 45 are driven based on an instruction signal from a controller to steer the scanner 10. At the same time an inclination alpha of the scanner 10 from the welded part 2 is detected by a built-in gradient angle sensor to electronically control a driving shaft 36. In addition, a position displacement DELTAl of the scanner 10 from the welded part 2 is detected by the welded part detecting sensor and an arm 32 is set to an angle beta by an electronically driven shaft 37, so that a scan arm 12 moves in parallel to an arm 30 by a parallelogram link coupled to the arm 30 and is controlled at a predetermined position on the welded part 2 and also at an orthogonal angle. Therefore, a supersonic probe 13 can be set to a predetermined orbit by a motor 44 of the arm 12 without being influenced by a posture of the scanner 10.
