摘要： PURPOSE:To enable measurement of correct distance, by using a radiation detector itself in place of an optical rangefinder to measure distance. CONSTITUTION:The gamma ray detection value of a detector 21 is represented by D1 as positioned at a distance L from a radiation cource Q which radiates gammarays in numbers of (q) per sec spherically. The detector 21 is made movable horizontally on a rail 8 through a slide 9. The ray detection value D2 is measured at the point shifted by a distance l from the distance L position. The distance L to the radiation source and the intensity (q) of the radiation source Q are measured by a specified formula based on the gamma ray detection values D1 and D2 and the distance l. Thus, the distance to the radiation source and the intensity thereof fare measured with only one detector 21 thereby avoiding effect of a non-transparent body existing in the cource while eliminating any rangefinder.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable quick acquirement of radiation distribution data with reduction in the time for scanning a specified area, by providing a specified number of radiation measuring means for measuring the intensity of radiation to collect measurement data from the respective means. CONSTITUTION:Radiation intensity signals detected with radiation detectors of radiation detection units 1 is fetched in the waveform of a pulse signal and the counts output through a counter is applied to a computer 2 via a cable 6. Signals from the units 1 are taken into the computer 2 sequentially n the time division to collect data from the units 1 at each of a specified time and the whole or a specified part of a measuring area is divided into proper zones while radiation distribution information is displayed on a CRT 3 by setting the density of a specified color or a certain color to correspond to the data for each of the small zones or other techniques. The computer 2 can change the cycle for the collection of information from the units 1 to collect momentary data and those averaged and use the one with a large processing capacity to achieve a quick output processing.

摘要： PURPOSE:To measure the distribution of radiation dosage rates safely in the shortest time with the minimum trouble by calculating dosage rate data at an optional position in a space from the spatial position of a radiation source found from radiation images from two positions. CONSTITUTION:Position signals XA and XB, and YC and YD of each event which are obtained from a scintillation camera(SC) 1 are amplified, converted 2, and inputted to a CPU 6, which finds and stores the coordinates and intensity of the incidence position of gamma rays in a memory 5. Then the SC 1 is used a certain time later to obtain a radiation image of one object (space including the radiation source). Then the SC 1 is moved to another position to obtain a 2nd radiation image of the same object and the CPU 6 finds the distribution of the ray source in the object by trigonometrical survey from the two images. Thus the distribution of the ray source is found and the dosage rate at an optional desired position in the object is calculated; and the CPU 6 generates a computer graphic image of the spatial distribution in the object and stores it in the memory 5. Consequently, distribution data on the radiation rates is obtained outside the space including the radiation source.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a radiation image, by allowing the position of a radiation detector to coincide with that of an imaging apparatus by a drive mechanism and synthesizing the output of the imaging apparatus stored in a memory device and that of the radiation detector. CONSTITUTION:The output from a radiation detector 2 performing horizontal scanning and vertical scanning by a detector scanning mechanism 3 is applied to a radiation count part 6 to be converted to a counting rate which is, in turn, taken in a CPU 8 as radiation intensity data are every definite time. A distance meter 1 measures the distance from the object or region to be measured of the detector 2 to perform the correction of radiation intensity data on the basis of said distance. The image of the object or region to be measured is taken by the ITV camera 4 driven by an ITV camera driving mechanism 5 to be stored in an image memory apparatus 7 and subsequently given to a mixing apparatus 9. By this method, the measuring position due to the detector 2 can be accurately confirmed on a picture and a highly reliable radiation image can be obtained.

During the measurement of the tritium concn. of the extracted tritium water, the tritium water vapor capturing work may be made continuously as well. By using the humidifier 1, the extraction rate is determined irrespective of the moisture content contained in the sample air.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the narrowing of a scanning range by allowing the directional direction of a detector to constantly cross the rotary shaft for scanning. CONSTITUTION:A detector is mounted so that its detection center is mounted on the extended line of a rotary shaft 21 in an inner frame 2 with the rotary shaft 21. The rotary shaft 21 is mounted to an outer frame 3 with a rotary shaft 31 so that it rotates freely but the rotary shaft 31 crosses the rotary shaft 21 of the inner frame 2 and passes the detection center of a directional Y ray detector 1 and the rotary shaft 31 is retained by the outer frame retention stand 4 so that it can rotate freely. The rotary shafts 21 and 32 are connected to inner frame and outer frame drive motors 22 and 32 which are sealed to the outer frame and the outer frame retention stand 4, respectively, the motors pivot-drive the inner frame 2 and the outer frame 3 by a specific sequence and within a specific range based on the control signal from a control part, thus enabling the directional direction of the directional gamma ray detector 1 to scan a specific range.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce exposure, to make an apparatus small in size and to attain energy- saving by a construction wherein filter paper is conveyed to an insertion port and cut, inserted thereinto together with a smear pad and fitted on the surface of the pad and taken out, and after the surface of a vessel is smeared, the filter paper is taken out and discharged. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus is constructed of mechanisms for conveying, cutting, setting and removing and discharging filter paper. The filter paper 6 in a roll held in a filter paper holder 7 is conveyed to a smear pad insertion port 8 by a conveyor belt 13 of a filter paper conveying mechanism 1 and paper feed rollers 14 and 15 and stopped thereat, and when the filter paper 6 is cut in a prescribed length by a movable blade 18 and a fixed blade 19 of a filter paper cutting mechanism 2. Subsequently, the filter paper 6 is pushed into a box body 9, together with a smear pad 5, from the insertion port 8 and fixed to the fore end of the pad 5 with a rubber band 21. When the pad 5 is withdrawn from the insertion port 8, thereafter, the smeared filter paper 6 is detached from the pad 5 and left on the inner periphery of the rubber band 21, blown off by air from an air nozzle and discharged outside by a discharge belt. According to this constitution, it is possible to reduce a danger of exposure, to make the apparatus small in size, to lessen a space of installation and to attain energy-saving.
