摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the type ring select mechanism of each figure, and to reduce the cost of parts and assembling cost, by energizing the type select and reset of a specified each plate spring corresponding to each figure type ring by oscillation- controlling a common holder of the each plate spring. CONSTITUTION:Plate springs 5 corresponding to each figure type ring 2 are maintained in parallel with a common holder 6 in comb-teeth-like shapes, and type select pawls 7 opposed to the type rings and armatures 8 facing to an electromagnetic mechanism 9 are held to the free end portions of the several plate spring 5. The type select and reset of each plate spring 5 are energized by oscillation-controlling the common holder 6 of each plate spring. Type select mechanisms are simply constituted, and the cost of parts and assembling cost can be reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To protect ununiform space between cross line of printing type and error operation of print selection by opposing rotation force transmitting elements adjacent each other through a washer and pinching a wheel part of a printing wheel between rotation force transmitting elements and the washer. CONSTITUTION:Each cross line printing wheel 202 is supported by inserting loosely axial hole H into the outer periphery of a boss 2092 of a pawl (rotation force transmitting element) 209 disposed on each printing wheel axis 201 rotatably with the axis. Cross line pitch a of each cross line printing wheel is secured by width l of boss 2092 of the pawl 209 and thickness of a washer 210 inserted between pawls 209 of each cross line. A wheel part of the each printing wheel is pinched slightly between the pawl 209 and the washer 210. Movement of whole printing wheel along the axis 201 is controlled by a pair of engaging elements rigidly attached to the axis 201 on both sides of prints.

A gear 115 and a cam 116 operates signal generation mechanism 300 and cams 117, 117 vary the pressure of a spring plate 217 engaged with a printing wheel selection lever 208.

When a desired-character type on the peripheral surface of the type wheel 202 is revolved to a position opposed to a platen 401, electric energy is supplied to required one of coils 216 for a short time so that the magnetic attractive forces between an armature 213 and yoke's comb teeth 2143, 2144 at the digit are eliminated, a selection claw 208 is revolved toward the type wheel shaft 201 centering a shaft 212 and the rotation of the type wheel 202 is stopped. The to-be-printed type is therby selectively located in front of the platen 401.

摘要： PURPOSE:To identify an error print of the printed format at a glance by providing a mulfunction warning mark, by which a mulfunction of the device can be discriminated on the type ring. CONSTITUTION:The mulfunction warning mark type A(X), for example, is provided to the first one of types arranged on the outer circumference of the type ring 202. The type selecting tooth B(X) corresponding to the mark type A(X) is given before the tooth B(0). When a reset failure is produced by certain cause such as dust, the click 2081 of type selection lever 208 is surely matched with the type selecting tooth B(X) to stop the type ring in the first stage of the type selection process. By this way, the mulfunction warning mark type A(X) is selected in front face of the platen 401 to print A(X).
