摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly correct a recording position by correctly detecting a recording sheet transfer amount error resulting from the behavior when a rear end of the recording sheet slips from a pinch roller in a recorder. SOLUTION: In an arrangement in which the recording sheet P is transferred by a pair of a transfer roller 36 and the pinch roller 37 and a pair of a paper discharge roller 41 and a spur 42, a transfer amount of the recording sheet is detected by encoder mechanisms 44 and 45 set to the paper discharge roller 41 of the downstream side. Even if the recording sheet is transferred excessively by an urging force or the like of the pinch roller 37 when the rear end of the recording sheet P separates from nipping by the transfer roller 36 and the pinch roller 37, the paper discharge roller 41 rotates as well by following the movement. Therefore, the movement amount of the recording paper can be correctly detected by the encoder mechanisms.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent dirt by ink due to rubbing of recording medium to be discharged after recording and recording medium which is already discharged and recorded by providing a support means for holding the recording medium to be discharged after recording for a certain period of time. CONSTITUTION: A feed roller 1 separates sheet S on a feed tray 2 one by one from the uppermost sheet and feeds it. A main conveyance roller 3 and a pinch roller 4 convey the sheet S which is separated and fed to a recording position. Furthermore, a discharge roller 8 and a spur 9 of which rotation follows the roller 8 discharge the sheet S out of a recorder. A support bar 10 holds the sheet S for a certain period of time before the sheet S is put on a discharge tray 11. The support bar 10 moves between a position where the drive of the main conveyance roller 3 is transmitted to hold the sheet and a position where it is stored in the recorder main body. Consequently, it is possible to prevent dirt by ink due to rubbing of the sheet S to be discharged after recording and the sheet S which is already discharged and recorded.

That is, the density difference between patterns to be superposed one upon another can be detected as different one in comparison with a pattern in a good emitted state.

The pinch roller holder 611 undergoes a further displacement in accordance with the displacement of the pinch roller 607. An end 611A of the pinch roller holder 611 is struck to a carriage rail 613 so as to be pushed up against the elastic force of a spring 631. Since the carriage rail 613 is abutting against a carriage body 201 or a press member 211A in accordance with a position of a position lever 211, a carriage 200 i.e. a record head 1 undergoes a displacement in accordance with the displacement of the carriage rail 613.
